Coats for Kids

Winter can often bring heavy snow and cold weather to many parts of Georgia.  Unfortunately many children do not have a warm coat to protect them from the cold.  You can help needy children keep warm during winter.  Coats for Kids is a program that specifically addresses this need.

The Knights of Columbus Department of Fraternal Services provides new winter coats for $16.25 each in cases of 12 for $195 plus shipping.  Online donations can be made to support a fund that will purchase coats in bulk each winter for Georgia's needy children.  At $150 per Council each year, Knights can provide more than 1000 Coats for Kids each winter.

In addition, Councils can conduct fund raisers and then use the form provided by Supreme (below) for ordering coats for area youths.  Your District or Council can also collect coats locally using the resources of your parish rather than raising money and purchasing coats.  Please make sure that the coats are in good, clean condition.
